Redmi Note 7 comes with 6.3 inches FHD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a small U shaped notch at the top which Xiaomi calls its “Dot Notch” housing the front facing camera. The resolution of the display is 2340 x 1080 pixels where the pixel density is 409 PPI. Display is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Note 7 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor which is an Octa core chipset where the four primary cores are clocked at 2.2 GHz and rest four secondary cores are clocked at 1.8 GHz. It has Adreno 512 GPU. Note 7 has a dual rear camera setup where the main camera is a 12 MP camera which an aperture of f/2.2 and the secondary camera is a 2 MP depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.2. The front facing camera is a 13 MP shooter whose aperture is f/2.0. Note 7 is having a 4000 mAh battery which supports Qualcomm Quick Charge 4 but the charger provided in the box is a 10 W charger. It is powered by Android Pie on top of which MIUI 10 is present. Note 7 is having a rear mounted fingerprint scanner, IR Blaster, Type-C USB port for charging and data transfer, and glass back. The rear glass is also Gorilla Glass 5 protected. It is available in blue, red and black colour options. It is available in two storage options with 3 GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage and 4 GB RAM, 64 GB internal storage, in both the cases storage type is eMMC 5.1 and it can be expanded upto 256 GB via a hybrid MicroSD card slot. The 3 GB variant is priced at 9,999 INR and the 4 GB variant is priced at 11,999 INR. The smartphone is sold via mi.com and Flipkart from 6th March.
